Kollegala. A new Taluk Dalit Struggle Farmers Association was established on Tuesday in the APMC premises of the town and the office bearers were elected.
Mallaraju as President of Taluk Dalit Struggle Raitha Sangh, Murulidharan as Secretary, Honorary President Mudduraju, Vice Presidents Annagalli Anand, Muthuraj, Treasurer Mahadeva, Associate Secretary Shivanna, Organizing Secretary Mohan appointed office bearers.
Senior farmer leader Angalli Basavaraju said that a Dalit farmer organization has been formed in our taluk. There are already more than hundred farmers in the association. He also said that we have the desire to organize dalit farmers at the district level and in all taluks.
If there are problems in any way for our race, the organization should be strengthened by fighting and giving justice. He said that he aims to increase the membership.
