Kollegala: Taluk Level Dasara Sports Meet,
Zilla Panchayat Chamarajanagar, Youth Empowerment, Sports Department Chamarajanagar in collaboration
Yalandur and Kollegala Taluks, 2025-26 Dasara Sports Meet was organized at Mahadeshwar Stadium in the town.

Inaugurating the programme, the MLA said,
When I was a student, I also participated in the Ko Ko tournament and basketball tournaments and got awards in sports, so I have a special interest and passion for sports, so I have released a special grant for the stadium. He said that a preveilen will be constructed to sit around the audience, and in the coming days, it will be convenient for sportspersons to hold cricket or any other events and national festivals such as Independence Day, Constitution Day, Kannada Rajyotsava, all festivals at Mahadeshwar Stadium.

Divisional officer Dinesh Kumar Meena, municipal council president Rekha, district guarantee implementation committee president Chandru, taluk president Rajendra, TP EO Gurushanthappa Bellundagi, BEO Manjula, Mahadeshwar college principal Jayalakshmi, sports department Suresh, block congress president Thotesh and sportsmen were present in the program of the sports meet.
