Kollegala: Sahitya Mitrakuta appealed to the government to speedily implement the Development Authority of Manteswamy Constituencies.

Tahsildar Mukhena submitted a request to the government at the taluk office of the town and Sahitya Mithrakoot President Balagunase Manju said that Manteswami Nilagara heritage and folk poetry is not only the pride of the district, but Kannada culture and the world folk world as well. This legacy aims to build a secular, egalitarian society.
The historic decision to form the Development Authority for Manteswamy constituencies was taken at the Cabinet meeting held on April 24, 2025 at Malemahadeshwara Hill under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister.
Welcoming this decision, he demanded that the development work in Chikkallur Siddappaji and Kurubanakatta Lingaiah Channaiah constituencies should start soon.

Government has taken measures through this authority to ensure that there is no problem in the rights, obligations and practices of the matha prefects and the authority will provide accommodation, drinking water, bathing ghat, toilet, canteen to the devotees, good road and transport facility will help in the development of tourism, local business and villages. Mahadeva, Shambulingaswamy, Channamadegowda, Ramaiah, BSI President Rachapaji, Lokesh, Shivanna, Sundaresh, Arun, Katyayini, Sundaranna, Kumaraswamy, Riaz Ali, Gopalanayak and others were there.
