Kollegala. Karnataka State Farmers Association Doddinduwadi and Singanallur branches of the farmers had launched a protest movement against the MLAs and concerned officials for failing to develop the roads connecting the rural areas and Gundal reservoir with potholes.

Kamagere, Singanallur and Doddinduwadi of the taluk conducted alms movement. Later, AEE Purushottam of Public Works Department, AE Surendra, G. Pm Sub-Division AEE Kumar, Engineer Manju, Kabini Department AE Ramakrishna, PDO Mariswamy visited and spoke to the protestors who were protesting near the circle of Doddinduwadi village.

Arupadaraj, John Joseph,

The protest continued after the authorities accepted a total of Rs 3,555 by begging and offered to give Rs 1,185 each to the Public Works Department, Irrigation Department and G.P. Department through officials of the concerned departments.
